Wearing my white upper uniform in my on the job training

I remember my on the job training in Crown Regency-Suite Mactan, i was assign in housekeeping and kitchen and food and beverages department. i have to render 960 hours in this hotel just to finish my OJT in this hotel and to be able to accomplish my duty required in school so that i will graduate. I remember my ojt was started last November 25 in Crown Regency- Suites Mactan and in 3 department my time was divided into 320 hours per department and i really enjoy my on the job training in this hotel the Staff and My Co-OJT is very approachable kind and friendly. My first deparment is Housekeping department, my first task was in public area i need to check the clubhouse and the gym comfort room need to check the amenties like tissues,scented candles trashcan and garbage.

>This is my last department Food and Beverages Production this is the most critical point, because you need to be careful because any mistakes that you will done will be your negligence you need to be careful and presence of mind. Your making food for the guess drinks you are responsible for their health. I was assign in the egg station  i make egg omelet for the guest because in this hotel they are serving breakfast buffet at 5:00 am to 10:00 am. my experience in this hotel is very memorable and gain more confidence for my self, and to prove that i can do better in my life. thanks to all the staff in this hotel for teachings and guiding when we had our on the job training thanks guys because what I've learn from school and ojt help me to improve myself.

My kids and cousins at Country Village Hotel

This was July 7th 2012 when my kids and cousin flew from Cebu to Cagayan de Oro City. I was not around that time. I was in Boracay accompanying my Aunt’s friend from New York. I am his tour guide. Anyway, this is the day when they checked-in at Country Village hotel. Both my Aunt and my Mom stayed at the same hotel. They both stayed in second floor with just few rooms away from each other.

They all bond each other. I am glad that my kids can communicate with their American cousin. It seems like they are friends for a while. Actually they met when my cousin was a baby. The bond they have before continues when they meet each again six years after. I get this picture from my Aunt’s Facebook. Can you find my kids? The only boy is my oldest. My little girl is the third girls in the picture.

love traveling

I am Diana and 28 years old. I live in Cagayan de Oro City. I graduated my college degree lasts March 30 2012. I finished Bachelor of Science Hotel and Restaurant Management. I love HRM because I want to become a manager someday in a hotel establishment. I am so glad that my Mom continues to support me in my studies, even though  I am a hardheaded daughter to her. So bless that I have the mom likes her whose always there when we need help.

Part of being a HRM student your expose to different kinds of functions and social etiquette. You learn the table manners and how to use the chinaware,glassware and silverware. I love being a HRM student because I have been to those places that I am always dreaming of  like Dakak Camiguin, Bohol, Boracay and Cebu. I am so happy that I am a HRM graduated student. My Mom’s 47th birthday

This was 2011 when my Mom celebrated her 47th birthday. It was held in VIP hotel here in our city. She flew from Cebu to have her birthday here. I am thankful that my Mom celebrated her birthday here. How I wish that she also invited my Grandma. Most of her high school classmates were invited on her birthday party.

It was a fun party. She has a beautiful cake design with sea, fish and scuba diver. My Mom used to teach scuba back in Cebu.
I think her birthday cake really describes what her interest is. My other Grandma was invited too. I met most of my Mom’s high school classmates. I am so happy for my Mom. I want to wish her more birthdays to come. I thank God for blessing her good health. I know that we do not have close relationship but I am still thankful for all she has done to me. I want to say thank you Mom for taking care of my kids too. I miss and love them very much. I know that they have better future in your care.
